Nigerian Renaissance: Jidenna and All Things Ankara 1

Jidenna Theodore Mobisson American recording artist, who released his first single, “Classic Man” this year. Jidenna was born in Wisconsin to an American mother, Tama Mobisson an accountant and a father of Igbo, Nigerian heritage, Oliver Mobisson who was a professor of computer science at Enugu State University until 1995, when the family moved from Nigeria to Massachusetts. Jidenna’s name in the Igbo language means to ’embrace the father’.

 Jidenna has recently partnered with All Things Ankara to shoot some pictures ahead of the the October 1st Independence Celebrations tomorrow, the aim is to promote Nigerian Renaissance for the Nigerian Independence Ball occurring in Marland, USA. Check out the stunning photos.
